MAJ TRUST Report 2006 - 2007

OFFICERS

The members of the Trust now stand at eight (8) members. The meeting accepted the demission of office of Dr. Brian James as Secretary and Dr. Lucien Jones as Director. The Trust expressed sincere thanks for the services of these two members.

Dr Robert Wan and Mr.Dennis Morrison Q.C. graciously accepted the invitation to serve as Directors. Dr Grantel Dundas indicated his desire to retire as Chairman. This was accepted and Dr. Blossom Anglin-Brown unanimously accepted to replace him.  Dr. Dundas was nominated for the position of Secretary and graciously accepted this.

MEETINGS

Members had three regular meetings and the annual general meeting. The financial statements were presented. The appointment of Auditors and re-election of officers were duly done.

PROJECTS

A donation of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) was made to the Musgrave Girl’s Home in Kingston.

FUNDRAISING

Plans are now being completed to have Christmas cards produced by the Directors for sale.
