Continuing Medical Education (CME) Accreditation
1. The CME organizer should contact the NCCME at least two months before the proposed activity and request an application form.
2. A form would be sent or faxed.
3. The completed form which should give details of proposed speakers and their qualifications as well as times allocated, would be sent into the office of the Medical Council of Jamaica (MCJ) together with the fee, as credits would not be given if the fee from the organizing association was not received.
4. The Convener of the subcommittee would send copies of programmes to the other members of the subcommittee and ask for an early response. Discrepancies would be discussed and a consensus of the number of hours to be allocated would be obtained.

6. The organizers would be responsible for providing attendees with documentation.
7. Individual physicians would then submit proof of participating in the requisite quantity when applying for their annual Practising Certificate.
